Summer and live music is a pairing that goes together like peanut butter and least here in Clarksville! From May through October on most weekends music lovers can find an outdoor venue showcasing a genre of tunes. Being only 40 minutes from Nashville certainly doesn't hurt our depth of talent, but Clarksville's local music scene is concert-worthy on its own merit.

(We'll keep this post updated throughout the summer are new concerts are announced, but also check our events calendar for details.)

Downtown Commons

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy free music all summer long at the full-block urban oasis Downtown Commons. Most events feature food trucks, but bring a picnic or enjoy a meal at one of the surrounding downtown restaurants like Hot Pita or Yada on Franklin

  • Downtown @ Sundown is one of Downtown Clarksville's most popular events. Held the first and third Fridays from May through October, the concert series features a variety of local and regional musicians throughout the summer.  Hear Clarksville's own Emmalee from last season's The Voice, Keith Anderson, American Floyd, Hot Lanta and more! Sundown concerts begin at 7:00 PM.
  • Worship Wednesday is held the last Wednesday each month from April through October. Performers are worship teams from various local churches.

After establishing itself as the premier place for outdoor live music by hosting Jazz on the Lawn for 30 years, Beachaven Winery is transitioning its 2021 performance schedule. Beginning May 15, Beachaven will offer live acoustic music every weekend in a smaller, more intimate setting. "We are excited to welcome guests every weekend this summer to enjoy live acoustic music and local food trucks in our picnic area," said Becca Cooke. "It'll be an environment where everyone can sit back and enjoy the music while sipping our award-winning locally made wines."  Music and food will be onsite Saturdays from 2:00-5:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00-4:00 PM.

Old Glory Distilling

Friday Night Live is back at Old Glory Distilling the second and fourth Fridays from June through September. Enjoy favorite local bands like Music for Mercy, Nightmasters, and Tina Brown. Plus food trucks, craft cocktails, beer, and yard games are all part of the experience for only $5. Find the full summer line-up on the Old Glory Facebook Events page. Friday Night Live concerts begin at 6:00 P.M.
