Summer and live music is a pairing that goes together like peanut butter and jelly...at least here in Clarksville! From May through October on most weekends music lovers can find an outdoor venue showcasing a genre of tunes. Being only 40 minutes from Nashville certainly doesn't hurt our depth of talent, but Clarksville's local music scene is concert-worthy on its own merit. Make sure to check in with our Concerts Calendar for all the summer performance details.

Downtown Commons

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy free music all summer long at the full-block urban oasis Downtown Commons. Most events feature food trucks, but bring a picnic or enjoy a meal at one of the surrounding downtown restaurants like Hot Pita, Blackhorse, or Yada on Franklin.

Downtown @ Sundown is one of Downtown Clarksville's most popular events. Held the first and third Fridays from May through October, the concert series features a variety of local and regional musicians throughout the summer.  Hear Hot Lanta, Barracuda, The Eagles Project , and more! Sundown pre-concert music begins at 6:00 PM with the headline act taking the stage at 7:00 PM.

Beachaven is bringing back the best of both worlds this year. In addition to keeping the singer/songwriter setting established in 2021, the winery's well-known Jazz on the Lawn is back for three performances this summer. The popular summer music series will feature two artists on each date with live music from 3:00-5:00 PM and 6:30-9:30 PM. Food trucks will be on-site so you can spend the entire day and enjoy food and wine during the shows.  Admission is $5 for ages 18 & up. Admission with a valid ID allows you to be on the property ALL DAY and enjoy music by both bands.

Jazz on the Lawn dates are June 18, August 20, and October 22. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs (no outside alcohol or pets please) and enjoy an evening of lively entertainment that the whole family will enjoy. On non-Jazz weekends, enjoy live acoustic music on the lawn every Saturday and Sunday through October. Music will take place on Saturdays from 2-5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. Wine will be available for sale by the glass or bottle.

Check Beachaven’s Facebook page for their entertainment lineup the week prior to events. Beachaven is located at 1100 Dunlop Lane.
