Clarksville Greenway
Bike, skate, run, or walk the trail, and maybe bring a friend or pet (on a leash please), to enjoy this scenic corridor. An abandoned railway, the 9-mile Clarksville Greenway is fully paved and a terrific spot for exercise, connecting with nature or enjoying time with family or friends.
Along the diverse trail, you'll experience creeks, bluffs, native wildflowers and trees, a scenic bridge, open vistas and maybe even some wildlife. Some sections are hilly; some are densely shaded. You'll enjoy the scenery so much, you might forget that it's an out-and-back trail, not a loop.
Clarksville BCycle is another convenient way to navigate the trail. It’s an automated bike-sharing system designed for short trips or recreational riding. The BCycle station on the Clarksville Greenway is located at the Pollard Road Trailhead. Other BCycle stations are located at Liberty Park, Cumberland Riverwalk, and Public Square, Franklin Street, Downtown Commons and Austin Peay State University. For more information, please visit clarksville.bcycle.com.
Greenway access points are located at Heritage Park, Pollard Road and Marys Oak Dr. See a trail map here.
Restrooms, as well as benches and picnic areas, are available onsite.
Please make sure to park only in designated areas.
