What better way to warm up on a chilly fall or winter day than snuggling up to a cozy cup of coffee? Whether you lean toward sweet, creative concoctions or are a true java purist, these inviting coffee shops in Clarksville have you covered.
Starting in the downtown area, Founding Frother’s Coffee on Strawberry Alley has a large array of themed and seasonal coffee creations to choose from. Our founding fathers would surely be proud to be the inspiration for many items on the menu board. For example, the popular George Washington drink includes a splash of cherry syrup and James Madison, Paul Revere, and Thomas Jefferson follow behind with their own unique and tempting recipes. A variety of cookies and other baked goods are available and a cozy seating area with a fireplace encourages customers to sit and stay for a while. Not only will customers enjoy a warm and delicious cup of their favorite brew, they also get a history lesson focused on the heroics of one of our iconic US patriots, handprinted right on the back of their coffee sleeve. It's fun to sip and learn!
A little further out from downtown at 741 Madison Street, you’ll find Cole’s Coffee and Boba. This local and veteran-owned shop has a chill atmosphere and helpful baristas who can guide you in finding your perfect drink. The plentiful choices of lattes, macchiatos, and cappuccinos might seem a little overwhelming to some. However, coffee flights with four choices of flavors are available for those who just can’t decide. Another unique offering at Cole’s is their Boba tea which consists of a tea base blended with milk, fruit flavors and chewy tapioca pearls. Cole’s is one of the only shops in the area that offers this fun, tasty tea. Gluten-free, nut-free cookies, muffins and breads are beautifully displayed and there’s also a grab-and-go cooler stocked with tempting cold teas and other treats to get you through the rest of your day.
On the north side of Clarksville, newcomer Atlas Coffee & Co is established at 1590 Walnut Grove Road. This drive-through-style coffee truck sits in a beautiful rural setting that’s still remarkably close to town. An inviting and pet-friendly outdoor seating area with picnic tables is provided for customers who desire to linger a while, making it the perfect spot to sip a white chocolate mocha or toasted coconut caramel latte. The self-proclaimed, “Anti-Morning Morning Club” is home to a wide variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty drinks. If you’re craving something a little more substantial, the menu includes flaky cherry danish, chicken salad croissant sandwiches, and other appealing pastries and snacks. Patrons may drive through or park and walk up to order. Whether you come solo, bring Fido or invite a friend to join, Atlas Coffee and Co is a sweet spot to relax and enjoy a creative brew.
