Fall is right around the corner folks, and what does that mean? Pumpkin spice and plenty of coffee, of course! Clarksville is becoming a hub of great coffee shops, and with classes starting back at Austin Peay State University, we wanted to share a few of our favorite spots around town. Stop in these places to grab your good morning brew.

  The Amsterdam Local

If you're looking for a cozy spot to get away from the office or enjoy a great brunch, look no further than The Amsterdam Local. Their Biscoff Coffee is a local favorite, and I can personally vouch for it—it’s incredibly frothy and creamy. I paired mine with a delicious Blueberry Lemon Cream Curd Bun, which made an excellent start to the morning. I would order this every day if I could. It’s a wonderful place to relax and brainstorm for the day ahead.

Sanctuary on Main

Sanctuary on Main is a quaint little place that feels like a breath of relaxation. Serving as a hub of wellness and mindfulness, Sanctuary also provides some delicious morning goodness with coffee, tea, and breakfast options. I ordered a Dezi Arnaz with vanilla sweet cream cold foam on top, and oh my gosh! It was creamy, frothy, and downright delicious. I paired that with an Egg and Cheese Everything Bagel sandwich and I was ready for the morning.

Mug Shot Coffee Co

If you're looking for a unique coffee shop, swing by Mug Shots and avoid doing time with some of their great drinks. First-timers will love the interior. We’ve heard great things about their Jailbird, which is their take on a caramel macchiato. With great coffee and a quirky interior, Mug Shot Coffee Co. is a one-of-a-kind spot that you don’t want to miss.

If you find yourself in a hurry and don't have time to savor a drink inside, here are a few of our favorite drive-through coffee spots:

  7 Brew

New to Clarksville, 7 Brew takes drive-through coffee to a whole new level. Featuring a completely customizable menu, 7 Brew hits the spot for a quick coffee on the go. Their Cinnamon Roll drink is phenomenal and great for can't-get-here-soon-enough fall weather. It is sweet but again, all of that can be adjusted to your liking.

  Atlas Coffee & Co.

Atlas Coffee is a local woman-owned coffee trailer established in 2021. Brought to life by a team of military spouses, this charming drive-thru spot is a haven for coffee aficionados, with a vast selection of cold brews and artisanal espresso creations. They also offer some delicious breakfast food like breakfast bagels, muffins and more. And for those days with great weather, your four-legged friends can frolic freely in the dedicated dog park.
