It's always a treat for us to look back and see what posts our Visit Clarksville Instagram followers liked most for the year. More than accumulating likes or followers, reflecting reminds us that visitors come to Clarksville from all over the world. (Not so much in 2020, but still from all across the USA!) We are reminded that we have beautiful places and people, and fascinating stories to tell. We're also home to some exceptionally talented local photographers, some of whom graciously serve as photo ambassadors for the Visit Clarksville brand--sharing their time and talents so we can share our community's stories. And, we also love seeing the photos that our residents take and share as they're out and about enjoying all that Clarksville offers.

Enjoy our Instagram Top 9 for 2020, and please follow along on Instagram if you don't already.

Dunbar Cave State Park

Fall scenes always rise to the top and this year was no exception. Dunbar Cave State Park is popular and photogenic in any season, but vibrant fall foliage turns the landscape into something magical. Three of the Top 9 favorites are from the park.

Downtown Clarksville

The charm of Downtown Clarksville delivers an experience like no other. Historic architecture, adorable boutiques, breweries, a plethora of restaurants and public art combine to make this a must-visit part of any Clarksville trip. Two of your favorites are classic Franklin Street. (The header shot from our Top Nine Blog is by APSU student Greyson Solomon Crawford.) The other downtown favorite is of the beloved Roxy Regional Theatre from former Clarksville resident and Photo Ambassador Justin Campbell @justinhikestn.

Clarksville Greenway

Another highly photographed area of Clarksville is the Greenway. This 9-mile trek was captured beautifully in Favorite #7 by Photo Ambassador @elaintennessee.

Strawberry Alley Ale Works

This hip downtown brewery and restaurant added an outdoor lighted patio in 2020 that catches all the best river sunsets. Favorite photos #4 and #8 feature the balcony from Strawberry Alley Ale Works.
