Blake Monroe

Blake Monroe Director of Sports Tourism

Blake stepped into the role of Director of Sports Tourism with the Visit Clarksville team and now serves as Senior Director of Sales. He is an alum of Austin Peay State University, where he graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication. Since his time in Clarksville, Blake has been involved with the community through non-profit work, as well as exploring the city. Blake has a background in many professional avenues, including sports journalism, public relations, and fundraising. He has even worked in photojournalism for the National Park Service. Blake’s favorite parts of Clarksville are the coffee shops, local food, and bike trails throughout the city. Blake’s favorite sports teams are pretty much any that are Tennessee-based!

Ryan Clark Sales and Services Manager

Ryan stepped into the role of Sales and Services Manager with Visit Clarksville in April 2025 and is thrilled to be part of the Visit Clarksville team. Ryan has a diverse professional background, including environmental education, outdoor recreation, state park programming, and over 10 years of experience in the event and tourism industries. Most of Ryan's tourism experience centers on hospitality sales, event and festival management, event center management, concert and live music management, and destination marketing. Ryan grew up in the Indianapolis, Ind. area, then moved to Kentucky to attend Murray State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in recreation and park management, as well as a master's degree in nonprofit management. He is also pursuing a doctorate degree in education and community leadership. Ryan moved to Tennessee in 2022, and he absolutely loves the state! He enjoys spending time traveling, fishing, hiking, and attending concerts and festivals. Ryan is looking forward to attracting visitors, groups, and events to Clarksville, driving local economic growth, and promoting Clarksville-Montgomery County as a premier destination to the world!
