Wilderness Survival

Would you know what to do if you were lost in the woods? This program will equip participants with the necessary knowledge and survival skills needed when dealing with the environment around us, especially during camping trips, hiking excursions, canoe/kayaking trips, etc. You will learn about preparedness and prevention techniques, necessary items to bring while hiking, outdoor nutrition, and wilderness first aid. Participants will also embark on a 4-mile hike to practice their new skills, so dress accordingly.
