About
About

Art lovers can enjoy a creative stroll through Historic Downtown Clarksville as they follow a self-guided tour of artistic displays. Each location has something different to offer with a variety of art and music on display. This event is produced by the Downtown Clarksville Association, and admission is free and open to the public.

The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center offers free admission during the First Thursday Art Walk from 5–8 PM. To get in the spooky spirit, join them at 6 PM for “Scary Horrors: Halloween Season Stories,” a reading of horror flash fiction, a demonic house’s secrets, and freaky fairytales by Clarksville writers from CECA’s Community School of the Arts Creative Writing program. (For adult audiences only.) For those who do not wish to partake in this reading, guests are free to explore the museum's many exhibits, including an interactive children's floor.

The Clarksville Arts & Heritage Council, Two Rivers Society of Painters, Downtown Artists Co-op, and Visit Clarksville will host the closing event of the Create at Collinsville series with the Final Exhibition and Reception at the Franklin Room in F&M Bank. The event allows attendees to purchase pieces of art created during the competition series.

Art Walk attendees are free to arrive and leave whenever they would like during these hours.
