Collinsville Opening Weekend

Join Historic Collinsville for its 2023 season-opening event on April 1 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Opening Day Event Highlights:

• Docents and reenactors
• Demonstrations of a 19th-Century stationary internal combustion engine
• Blacksmith demonstrations
• Spinning and weaving demonstration
• 19th-Century children's activities (The Game of Graces, sack races, crafts, etc.)
• One-room school activities and piano playing
• Butter Making
• Trail of Tricks Photo Scavenger Hunt
• Pioneer Prankster's Journey of Jokes
• 1:00 pm – Tobacco Talks by Carolyn Ferrell
• 11:00 am-Noon – The Cumberland Winds Brass Quintet at the Pavillion
• Travelling Caudells will be playing throughout the day.
