An 1860s Tennessee Christmas

Experience an 1860s Tennessee Christmas celebration at Historic Collinsville with activities and refreshments along with a candlelight service in the Wildwood Church and School. There will be a limit of 36 guests per night. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Become a part of a typical family's holiday celebration. Step back in time at The Batson Family's Dogtrot House with authentic furnishings, good company, and 19th-Century activities. Enjoy festivities in Ms. Kitty's cozy kitchen, the family's luxurious parlor, and the parents' private quarters. There will also be a candlelight service in the Wildwood, a one-room church and school, as part of the Christmastime event. (This event is best for ages 5 and over.)

Special event admission: $15 for ages 6 and up and free for ages 5 and under.
