Kings Bluff Rock Climbing Park

For breathtaking views, climb up to Kings Bluff. Kings Bluff is a must-visit for climbing enthusiasts in Clarksville, Tennessee. Nestled along the Cumberland River, this 9.78-acre limestone crag was generously donated to The Southeastern Climbers Coalition back in 2002. Kings Bluff is worth the climb if you're up for a challenge! Remember, Leave No Trace.

River Club & Swan Lake Golf Course

Enjoy a round of golf surrounded by the vibrant fall foliage and local wildlife. The River Club course is designed to be played as either nine or 18 holes, but three of the holes have two separate greens, while the other six holes have greens large enough to have two separate pin placements. Swan Lake is an 18-hole, 6,065-yard course located at the beautiful Dunbar Cave State Park. This par-71 course features Champion Ultradwarf Bermuda grass greens, hybrid 419 Bermuda fairways, and tees.

Cumberland Riverwalk & Rotary Park

Looking to take a leisurely stroll along the river? One of Clarksville's most scenic developed trails, the Cumberland Riverwalk, follows the Cumberland River beginning at the southern border of McGregor Park. Or, for a change of scenery, explore Rotary Park. Boasting over five miles of hiking/biking trails, and a large ADA-accessible playground, this park is 111.3 acres asking to be explored.

Historic Collinsville

Craving a history lesson? Take a leisurely drive to this 40-acre pioneer settlement and museum, featuring 17 authentically furnished structures from the 19th and early 20th centuries. There are guided tours of the Weakley House Museum that let you enjoy the authentic period furnishings and artifacts that fill most buildings, illustrating rural life before and after the Civil War.

Fort Defiance Civil War Park

Overlooking the Red and Cumberland Rivers atop a 200' bluff, Fort Defiance offers a breathtaking view of the Clarksville skyline. The interpretive center on the grounds shows the history of the Civil War and the site from many differing perspectives. This is one of the few remaining intact earthen works forts found in the U.S.

Customs House Museum & Cultural Center

Constructed in 1898 as Clarksville’s first U.S. Post Office and Customs House for the flourishing tobacco trade, this architecturally fascinating structure is among the most iconic landmarks in the region. Today, the Customs House stands as a general interest museum and boasts an array of attractions to delight visitors of all ages. Kids (and adults!) will enjoy the Bubble Cave and model train exhibit.

Star Spangled Brewing, Strawberry Alley Ale Works, Blackhorse Pub and Brewery

Looking to grab a great drink and soak in the vibes? Head to Downtown Clarksville, where you’ll find some fantastic spots to unwind. Star Spangled Brewing Company’s second location is a must-visit. With its retro camping theme, it offers a unique and fun experience you won’t find anywhere else. For a taste of expertly crafted beer and delicious from-scratch recipes, make your way to Strawberry Alley Ale Works. It’s the perfect place for great times and even better drinks. Or, check out Blackhorse Pub & Brewery, a Downtown Clarksville staple since 1992. Known for its beer cheese, pizza, and big cookies, Blackhorse guarantees a good time. And if you’re not ready to call it a night, head upstairs to the Taproom, open until 3:00 AM, for a round of pool or shuffleboard.

Beachaven Vineyards & Winery & Old Glory Distilling

Explore the oldest single-family-owned winery in the state of Tennessee by touring its estate and tasting wines created with both local and regional fruit at Beachaven Vineyard. The winery hosts live music throughout the year, but in the summer months, it is best known for its popular outdoor concert series, Jazz on the Lawn. If small-batch whiskey is more your thing, Old Glory Distilling Co. is where you want to be. Take a tour and tasting to experience their bourbon whiskey, gin, vodka, moonshine, rum, and more craft spirits.

Downtown Commons Concerts

Get your groove on at Downtown Commons on the first and third Fridays of every month from May to October. This free, family-friendly series features local talent and tribute bands that will blow your mind without blowing your budget. Shows begin at 7:00 PM. Pack your comfiest chairs and blankets, grab some dinner and drinks from a local food truck or dining spot, and enjoy the show - just remember, no pets, no coolers, and no outside alcohol. 

Artsville Fest

Celebrate creativity downtown with the Artsville Festival on the first Saturday in October. Enjoy art exhibitions, live music, workshops, and a variety of food and beverage vendors. Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity and inspiration as local artists, musicians, performers, and artisans showcase their talents.

8th Annual Oktoberfest at Beachaven Winery

Missing Europe and the amazing festivals that take place there? Join the fun at the 8th annual Clarksville Oktoberfest from September 27th to 29th at Beachaven Winery! This year’s event promises to be bigger and better with free admission, a live polka band all weekend, Oktoberfest beers, wines from the vineyard, German foods, games, dancing, and stein-holding competitions. It’s a fantastic event for the whole family!
