A cold water plunge, an ice-cold beverage, and a frozen cup or cone of creamy, dreamy deliciousness. These are our favorite ways to tackle summer heat and humidity. Fortunately, you’ll find plenty of options for all of these in Clarksville. We’re sharing some of our favorite (and your soon-to-be-favorite) ice cream spots. We’d love to hear about your favorite(s) and see your pictures enjoying them. Tag us on Instagram with #visitclarksvilletn.
Frozen Fuel opened in downtown Clarksville last summer. What makes them different is that the ice cream is made fresh on-site with premium ingredients, and when you walk in the shop you don’t see any ice cream. What? That’s right, they keep their ice cream covered in a freezer until ready to serve, to maximize the quality of texture and taste. If you think this quality can’t compare to national or well-known brands, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy flavors like Chocolate Overload and Lemon Surprise plus several dairy-free options, Italian ice, shakes and malts. They’re also a dog-friendly business with ice cream for your furry companion.
Our pick: Caramel Crunch. As lush as it sounds…and is…the fresh, quality ingredients give it an unexpected lightness. #pureyum

They are constantly developing new tantalizing treats. You can also enjoy hot and iced coffees, shakes…everything you would expect in a traditional ice cream parlor and more.
