Lovers of whimsy, charm, magic and creativity will adore these three Clarksville, Tennessee Airbnbs. The names alone will pique your interest: The Pink House, The Old Clarksville House and The Storybook Cottage. Conveniently located at the perimeter of historic downtown and near Austin Peay State University, these make ideal lodging for a family visit, a romantic weekend away or a girlfriend’s getaway.

All three properties are the vision of Clarksville Realtor®, entrepreneur and military spouse Angie Morales-Link. Having grown up in Florida and working at Disney, she wanted to bring a little of that magic to Clarksville. We think she’s succeeded!

The Pink House

The Pink House incorporates a Tudor-style arched front and sits among a row of 1940s-era homes. Link’s vision was to bring something beautiful and feminine with an experience to make you feel like you were in the French country. Marilyn Monroe blowing a pink bubble in an ornate frame on the fireplace mantle sets that vibe well. Guests will love the pink refrigerator and cozy floral bedrooms.

The Old Clarksville House

Next door is the Old Clarksville House (OC House). As the masculine, fun and adventurous counterpart to The Pink House, the OC House is a Hunter Green, prohibition-era inspired property. It’s filled with manly décor like an old pipe collection, interesting art, maps and items that hint at Fort Campbell’s and Clarksville’s history. Both houses include dreamy backyard spaces with gazebos, string lights, chandeliers, seating and large stone walkways. The areas connect, making them ideal for small gatherings.

LOOK FOR a push-panel door that's a passageway to the hidden speakeasy. (Glassware is provided, but BYOB.)

The Storybook Cottage

Link’s third project, and maybe her most charming to date, opened this month. The Storybook Cottage is within walking distance to one of the city’s newest coffee shops and eateries, Amsterdam Local Café. The Tudor Revival with a touch of Medieval architecture showcasing a steeply pitched roof and arched entryway screams picture-perfect cottage!

Each room is decorated from the storybook princess’ or character’s point of view. After entering the French-styled Cinderella living room, you’ll want to explore each room and discover which storybook is portrayed. We won’t divulge all the magic but look for Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Snow White, among others. Some of the décor is subtle so you’ll be enticed to search for hints. You might want to brush up on the top storybooks and fairy tales, so you don’t overlook any hints.

LOOK FOR what might appear to be furniture may instead be a secret doorway.

All three homes offer the same layout, with two full-size beds downstairs and two twin beds upstairs, and are available for rent on Airbnb. Learn more about each property at https://alphalinkhomes.com.
